REPUBLIC ACT No. 9861
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY AGAY-AYAN, MUNICIPALITY OF TINAMBAC, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR TO BE KNOWN AS AGAY-AYAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Establishment of a National High School. – There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, a national high school in Barangay Agay – ayan, Municipality of Tinambac, Province of Camarines Sur to be known as Agay – ayan National High School.
Section 2. Appropriations. – The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the DepartmentΒs program the operationalization of Agay – ayan National High School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.1awphi1
Section 3. Implementation. – The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 4. Effectivity. – This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 28, 2008 and September 30, 2009, respectively.
