AN ACT DECLARING MARCH 21 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN VICTORIAS CITY, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. March 21 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in Victorias City, Province of Negros Occidental, to commemorate the day it was converted into a component city.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 17, 2008 and March 2, 2009, respectively.
